Drums, Percussions, Music, Passion, Discovery, Enthusiasm, were the ingredients that made Drums Addict Festival 2006 and 2007 the most beautiful event dedicated to drums in France and one of the best in Europe.
Set after set, you experience different unusual or innovative musical universes where the drummer gets all the emphasis. For once, he/she is the shining star and both the audience and the rest of the band are here to pay tribute to him/her.
Jazz-fan, rock-fan, whoever you are, you'll cherish each moment whatever the music style, because we'll inspire your desire for discovery. Our pride and joy is to bring talents together, famous or anonymous, and share the stage between promising newcomers and world class artists, making all of them available for you to get autographs or signed items because at the end, only talent matters. We are looking forward to introducing you our 2008 issue, and this second edition will provide its share of surprises.

About the festival

The Drums Addict Festival (DAF), taking place in l'Espace Médoquine, is a national event bringing together some 20 national and international artists for a day long performance of shows and unusual encounters. We have made our best effort to establish the conditions for a major musical event, where both artists and audience will appreciate comfortable and prestigious environment enabling top quality performances.

Drums Addict Festival is an 'All-About-Drums' dedicated event offering multiple shows for the audience to attend, spread over an 8-hour schedule. Each show introduces one or more drummers in different musical atmospheres, playing solo or with a band.
What makes Drums Addict Festival unique is interactivity. People in the audience can ask any question to the artists about their career or their technique using wireless microphones. The artists can then answer by a direct demo to illustrate their explanation, which can be detail-viewed on the giant video screen. This is accomplished with the help of our 4 on-stage camera operators who capture the artist’s performance from multiple angles, live-mixed by our production team.
